What this policy covers

This policy applies to https://www.bhogaapuram.com and every page on it, including the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport guide, real-estate section, hotels and stays directory, blog. Bhogaapuram.com is an independent information site about Bhogapuram, Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh and the surrounding North Andhra region. It does not sell products, take payments, or hold customer accounts.

It does not cover other websites we link to. Booking platforms, airline sites, property portals and news publishers each run their own privacy policies, and you should read theirs before you hand over anything.

What information we collect

We collect four kinds of information, and three of them only happen if you choose to act.

• Contact form submissions. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive the name, email address, phone number, city, enquiry type and message you provide. Only the name, email and message are required; the rest are optional and simply help us answer properly.
• Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to updates, we store the email address you enter and the date you subscribed, so that we can send Bhogapuram and airport updates and prove consent if you ever ask.
• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is generated automatically and is used for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics. We measure aggregate traffic — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and roughly which region they are in — so we know which guides are useful and which need rewriting. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.

We do not ask for and do not want identity documents, property papers, bank details or payment information. Please do not send them through the contact form.

How we use your information

We use what you send us for exactly the reason you sent it, and nothing else. Specifically:

• To reply to your enquiry, correction or news tip.
• To assess a property, hotel or advertising listing enquiry and get back to you about it.
• To send the newsletter, if you asked for it, until you unsubscribe.
• To understand which pages readers find useful, so we can improve the guides and correct pages that have gone out of date.
• To keep the site secure and available, and to comply with a legal obligation if one arises.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not pass your enquiry to estate agents, developers, hotels or any other third party looking for leads.

Cookies and analytics

Bhogaapuram.com is a static, mostly read-only website, so it uses very few cookies. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and there is no login to keep you signed in.

• Language preference. If you switch the site to Telugu, we store a cookie named bhogaapuram-locale for one year so the choice sticks on your next visit. English is the default. You can switch back at any time.
• Essential cookies and local storage may be used to remember interface preferences, such as a light or dark theme.
• Analytics cookies or identifiers may be set by our analytics provider to count visits and page views in aggregate.
• Third-party embeds. If a page embeds content hosted elsewhere — for example a map or a video — that provider may set its own cookies when the embed loads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop you reading anything on this site; at most, a preference such as your chosen theme will not be remembered.

Who else can see your data

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so the site can function: our hosting and content delivery provider, our email provider, our analytics provider and, if you subscribe, our newsletter delivery provider. They are permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us.

Beyond that, we disclose information only where we are legally required to — for example in response to a valid order from a court or a competent authority — or where it is necessary to investigate abuse of the site. We are an independent publisher and are not affiliated with GMR, the Airports Authority of India, the Ministry of Civil Aviation or the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and we do not share reader data with them. Outbound links and endorsements

Our guides link to airline websites, hotel and homestay booking platforms, property listings, developer websites and news publishers. Those links are provided because they are useful, not because we vouch for them.

An outbound link is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a warranty. We do not verify the offers, prices, availability, approvals or claims made on third-party sites, and we receive no information about what you do once you leave Bhogaapuram.com. This matters most for property: land and plot prices published here are market estimates rather than official rates, and you should verify approvals, titles and prices independently before you pay anything. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it.

If you ask us to delete something sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it for a legal reason.

Your rights

Wherever you are reading from, you can ask us to do all of the following, free of charge:

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Correction — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your enquiry or subscription.
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, using the link in every email or by writing to us.
• Object or restrict — object to a particular use of your data, or ask us to pause it while a query is resolved.

Readers in India have these rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and readers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. We answer every request within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not make the site worse for you because you asked.

How we protect information

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry and subscriber data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. Because Bhogaapuram.com holds no accounts, no passwords and no payment data, the amount of information at risk is deliberately small. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, though, so please do not send anything through this site that you would not be comfortable sending by ordinary email.

Children's privacy

Bhogaapuram.com is written for adults planning travel, property and business decisions, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the contact form or the newsletter, write to bhogaapuram@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the site changes — for example if we add a new analytics tool or a new way to get in touch. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last revised, and the current version is the one that applies. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will say so prominently rather than quietly editing the text.
